Looking Ahead

In October, crews placed and compacted the engineered sub-base that will form the foundation for the concrete hardstand. Around 3.5 million kilograms of aggregate from Eves Valley Quarry will be transported to site.

Specialist contractors from Conset Construction will begin pouring the reinforced concrete pavement in November and December. 

January will commence service installations around the hardstand and construction of the tradewaste treatment plant.

The project remains on track for completion in late March, with the new mobile boat hoist commissioned soon after.
